 Spectators and Parents at all times accept and adhere to the following behaviours:

 1. Remember that young people participate in sport for their enjoyment and benefit, not yours.

 2. Applaud good performance and efforts from all individuals and teams.

 3. Respect the decisions of officials and teach young people to do the same, 

4. Never ridicule or scold a young player or referee for making a mistake,

 5. Condemn the use of violence in any form, whether it is by spectators, coaches, officials or Players.

 6. Show respect for your team’s opponents,

 7. Encourage players to follow the rules and the officials’ decisions,

 8. Do not use foul language, sledge or harass players, coaches or officials,

 9. Spectators are not to attempt to intimidate an opponent, or an official, by their words or actions,

 10. Spectators are to treat all players, coaches, officials and other spectators with the same respect, professionalism and courtesy that you expect, 

11. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion. 

12. If you bring a spectator out with you, you are responsible for their actions. 

13. Our WhatApps group chats are not a place for parents to air their grievances on this is to be kept to basketball communications only 

14. Parents are to come to the coordinator of Green Light Basketball to express any concerns or grievance they may have.

 15. Green Light Basketball do not stand for any Bullying or gossiping in regard to anyone who is involved in Green Light Basketball, player, official, coach or team manage
